FROM CONFLICT TO HARMONY

From Conflict to Harmony

WE COULD NOT HAVE SAID IT BETTER THAN RONALD REAGAN: “PEACE IS NOT THE ABSENCE OF CONFLICT; IT IS THE ABILITY TO HANDLE CONFLICT BY PEACEFUL MEANS.”

The true strength of any relationship is not defined by how good things are when life is plain sailing. It is defined by how well you are able to navigate through the storms and how much stronger and wiser you surface from it.

Our from Conflict to Harmony workshop will show you that conflict is by no means a negative term. On the contrary, when handled mindfully, conflict builds your character and forms a bridge to greater understanding of yourself and the other and ultimately serve to strengthen your relationships and help you to accomplish your joint goals. This course will equip you with the emotional intelligent tools to achieve exactly that.

The Raving Red Temperament in the Workplace: How to Succeed and Avoid Conflict
By Lynette Beer 01 Mar, 2023
Raving Red is a leader, organiser and control freak par excellence. Their theme song is certainly Frank Sinatra’s “I did it MY way!” To appoint Red in a leadership position, is not only wise and constructive, but a good investment in getting the job done. Red is a problem fixer and a fearless decision-maker who excels in crises. He or she can manage money and tasks to a fault – but has little to no sensitivity for people.

The brain is a very complex organ. It controls and coordinates everything from the movement of our fingers to our heart rate. It also plays a crucial role in how we control and process our thoughts, our emotions, and our actions.
Dealing with Difficult People

The French philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre is known for the quote: “Hell is other people.” In one of his stage dramas, translated as “In camera”, three characters are waiting together in a room in hell. They expect to be tortured for all their wrong deeds on earth.
Don’t React, Respond
By Lynette Beer 13 Nov, 2020
Sir Isaac Newton’s famous words - To every action there is always opposed an equal reaction - is not only true in the world of science. It applies equally to people and everyday life. Every act or action (by a person) has an equal and opposite reaction – or response – by another person. However, human beings can choose to react or respond to the action.

Wanneer ons eerlik is, nie net met ander nie maar ook met onsself, weet ons waarheen ons op pad is. Ander sal nie van ons verwag wat ons nie kan doen nie. Oor

Konflik, en veral gesonde konflik, is normaal en noodsaaklik. Mense verskil. Mans en vrouens verskil. Menings, doelwitte en maniere van doen verskil.

For a team to function optimally, you have to have representatives of all four temperaments working together.
